Desiree Bos

Windows of Art

brand identity / personal branding

Desiree Bos is an artist, a visual merchandiser, and an interior stylist. The multidisciplinary artist is often asked what her work entails. As her work moves fluidly between multiple disciplines, she knows she might move to a new discipline in the future. Therefore, Desiree Bos needed a personal branding – one that would carry her name and answers the question ‘what do you do for work?’

A personal brand
calls for authenticity

In our brand strategy, we advised Desiree Bos to profile herself as a personal brand.
To create a personal branding for Desiree Bos, we searched for the common thread in her work - she creates visuals. Visuals in shop windows, art works, and aesthetically pleasing interiors. Visuals are made to be seen, which we translated into another great visual to explore: a personal website.

Windows of Art

The concept for Desiree Bos is ‘Windows of Art’ – as everything she makes is something to be seen.
The word ‘windows’ also refers to shop windows and art literally refers to the artwork she makes.
From this concept, we have created ‘Art made to be seen’ and ‘Interiors made to be seen’. To create a trilogy of the three worlds she currently explores.

Using the right font for your business
is a strategic gamechanger

The logo has a very fluid and artistic shape, which reflects the style and the work of Desiree Bos. We turned the letter e in the font into an icon that symbols the world, as Desiree Bos sees the world as art.

A personal branding
suits the person
behind the brand

The branding is a very personal branding that suits the woman behind the brand, in a soft tonal palette of feminine, soft, and earthy shades. The website and the print work created for Desiree Bos clearly translate the brand feeling.
